Martin Tinsley - Chair of Governors
Martin has over 16 years of experience as a Headteacher in the local area. He now runs his own Educational Consultancy business, supporting schools with leadership and school improvement strategies. Martin brings a wealth of expertise in strategic leadership, governance, and school development to his role as Chair of Governors.
Judith Jefferies - Vice Chair
Judith is a retired Headteacher and an active member of the local community. She has been a community advisor since November 2019. She is very sporty and can often to be seen out and about running with Maidenhead Athletics Club.
Jonathan Williams – Community Governor
Jonathan has served as a Community Governor at Braywick Court School since its opening in 2014. He joined the Governing Body to help create an outstanding school that gives children the best possible start in life and fosters a lifelong love of learning. Jonathan works for a professional services firm in London, and in his spare time enjoys running, reading, and spending time with his family.
Ben Skinner– Parent Governor
Ben is a Parent Governor at Braywick Court School, passionate about supporting the quality of education our children receive. He joined the Governing Body in September 2025 and has two children at the school
Ben has over 15 years of experience in technology and digital innovation, including more than a decade in leadership roles across investment research and operations.
Mandeep Sansoy – Parent Governor
Mandeep joined the Local Governing Board in September 2024 and has two children at Braywick Court School. She is passionate about inclusion and pupil wellbeing. Since joining, Mandeep has been part of the OPAL Drive Team, collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team and PTA to enhance outdoor play and learning opportunities.
Lindi Smit - Community Governor
Lindi is currently the Head of Admissions and Administration at an independent school (4 to 19 years) in Berkshire. Originally from South Africa, she came to the UK to pursue her career on the stage. She is passionate about the arts in education and making sure each child has the opportunity to work on their individual talents. Mum to one teen, she spends her weekends at the airfield watching her daughter fly.
M'Caela Parker - Community Governor
As a parent and advocate for children’s wellbeing, M'Caela is committed to supporting the school community with fairness, inclusion, and strong outcomes for all pupils. An Independent Social Worker with over a decade of experience in Private Law, M'Caela brings expertise in safeguarding and child-centred practice to the Governing Board. Outside of work, she enjoys family life, staying active, and exploring the outdoors with a very energetic toddler.
Julian Lockwood - Community Governor
Julian retired from a 30-year career at Deutsche Bank, where he served as Finance Director, most recently in the role of Chief Financial Officer for the Risk Organisation. A long-time Maidenhead resident, Julian is married with two daughters and is passionate about ensuring children have access to excellent educational opportunities. In his spare time, he enjoys running (often at Maidenhead Parkrun), gardening, and exploring his interest in art, particularly Modern British and 20th-century European works.
Amisha Ramdin - Parent Governor
Amisha is a Parent Governor at Braywick Court School, again passionate about supporting the quality of education our children receive. She joined the Governing Body in September 2025 and has one child at the school
Amisha has extensive experience in Health and safety management, risk assessment, safeguarding and promoting wellbeing.
Michelle Deakin - Parent Governor
Michelle is a Parent Governor at Braywick Court School, who believes that education and prevention at a grassroots level are essential to ensuring children’s safety and wellbeing. She joined the Governing Body in September 2025 and has two children at the school
Bellevue Place Education Trust’s ethos and values strongly resonate with Michelle who has seen first-hand the positive influence Braywick Court School has had on her children and their peers, and is eager to support its continued development.
Michelle Robertson - Headteacher
Michelle has over 21 years of experience in education across Buckinghamshire and Berkshire. She is passionate about curriculum design, pedagogy, and professional development, and also works as a guest facilitator for Best Practice Network, delivering NPQ courses across London and the South East.
Michelle joined Braywick Court School in 2017 and has served on the Governing Body since 2018, becoming Headteacher in April 2022. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling with her husband and two children and is an avid reader. Nothing makes her happier than sharing the magic of a good story with children in the book corner.
Fiona Crouch - Teacher Governor
Bringing two decades of dedicated experience in education to our Board of Governors, I have been an integral part of the Braywick Court School family since our very first year. Having worn many hats across nearly every department, I possess a unique, "boots-on-the-ground" perspective of our school’s evolution and daily operations. When not championing excellence in the classroom, I am usually found pursuing two passions: exploring new cultures through travel or staying active with a love for all things sport.
Karen Brake – Clerk to the Local Governing Board
Karen joined Braywick Court School in 2016 as School Operations Manager and Clerk to the Governing Board. She oversees the day-to-day running of the school and brings extensive experience in HR, Health & Safety, operations, and logistics. Karen also serves as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and works as part of the Senior Leadership Team to support the school’s operational and strategic development.
